For a pan-European real estate developer and long-term owner of industrial and logistics assets, we are looking for a Head of Applications & Automations to lead the next phase of business technology development.
This role goes beyond traditional application management. You will own the end-to-end application landscape (ERP, CRM, HR, finance, ESG) and drive process optimisation, automation and AI adoption across multiple countries. Working closely with leasing, finance, ESG, HR and operations, you will translate business needs into modern, scalable digital solutions supporting the full real estate lifecycle.
Role scope:
- Ownership of the full lifecycle of business applications, including roadmap, stability and continuous improvement
- Application portfolio management (priorities, budget, vendors, contracts) and delivery of new implementations
- Close business partnering with leasing, finance, ESG, HR and operations
- Leadership of automation initiatives, low-code workflows and future RPA capabilities
- Deployment of practical AI use cases with clear business impact
- Building and developing a high-performing applications and automation team
What client is looking for:
- 8+ years in technology roles, including leadership of application or digital teams
- Experience managing complex application portfolios and external vendors
- Strong understanding of business processes (leasing, finance, HR, ESG or operations)
- Hands-on experience with low-code / automation platforms (e.g. Power Platform or similar)
- Strong stakeholder management, business mindset and ability to drive change in a multi-country environment
- Fluency in English
